This whole house water filter system is simple, user friendly, dependable, and shipped ready for installation with filtration media already in the tank. The system connects to the main line of your home and filters all the incoming water to it. It requires a nearby power outlet and drain source (usually the washing machine drain).

This system uses a self-backwashing solid state microprocessor with LED display electronic control valve that automatically removes the trapped contaminants within the filter bed and washes them down the drain.
Four-Stage Water Softening & Filtration Process
In stage 1, water flows through a 20" sediment filter cartridge that removes sediment, silt, sand and dirt. Also extends the life of water softeners and water filters and prevents damage to control valves or pumps.
In stage 2, water flows through an ion exchange mineral tank and brine water conditioner. The mineral tank contains CQ-WSR-1000, which is a high capacity premium grade bead form conventional gel polystyrene sulphonate cation exchange resin designed for use in industrial or household water conditioning equipment. It removes the hardness ions, e.g. calcium and magnesium, replacing them with sodium ions. When the resin bed is exhausted and hardness ions begin to break through, capacity is restored by regeneration with common salt.
In Stage 3, water flows through a Fluoride removing resin media, CQ-900. CQ-900 is a high capacity synthetic absorbent media that is highly selective for lead, arsenic and fluoride. The extremely high surface area and pore distribution gives this media the highest possible operating capacity and lowest possible leakage.
CQ-900 is a synthetic aluminum oxide that is specially processed to have a minimum of fines and other foreign matter. This media removes Fluoride, Arsenic, & Lead by a chemical reaction with the media.
In stage 4, water flows through a 20" solid carbon cartridge for removing volatile organic carbon compounds (VOC's), insecticides, pesticides and industrial solvents.
